Our strategic areas
We promote and invest in strategic areas of the VNG Group with a particular focus on after-use concepts for biogas facilities, the strategic area of “hydrogen” and optimisation processes in gas trading and infrastructure.

In cooperation with the Leipzig SpinLab – The HHL Accelerator and the Smart Infrastructure Ventures Fund, we specifically look for start-ups that we can comprehensively prepare for cooperation with corporates and whose ideas we can develop together.

Who we are
VNG Innovation GmbH was founded in 2016 as the venture capital arm of VNG AG and has since developed into a reliable specialist investment partner. Since our launch, we have had the opportunity to invest in and work with several great start-ups. As a corporate venture company, we have a clear strategic focus and invest exclusively in start-ups whose business model offers cooperation potential within the VNG Group.
